    From 10–16 August 2026, Birmingham becomes the epicentre of European sport as the European Athletics Championships come to the United Kingdom for the very first time. This unmissable event offers 7 days of world-class action, thrilling finals, and the roar of a home crowd cheering for glory.

    The newly redeveloped Alexander Stadium, already celebrated for its sell-out success during the 2022 Commonwealth Games, will again take the spotlight. As the home of UK Athletics, it welcomes over 1,500 elite athletes from 50+ nations in a week of high-octane track and field competition.

    Each session is categorised by event type, including medal finals, to help you choose the perfect experience — whether you’re a die-hard athletics fan or attending your very first competition.

    This table shows ticket prices for the European Athletics Championships Birmingham 2026, broken down by event session (morning or evening), seating category (A–E). Prices vary based on the session type and seating area within the stadium. Discounts are available for children aged 2 -16 years in categories C, D and E, starting at £5 for a Morning Session ticket and £13 for an Evening Session ticket. Wheelchair tickets are priced at the lowest price category E, a single companion receives complimentary admission. Easy Access tickets are available for ambulant disabled spectators and spectators with a visual or hearing impairment. Adult andjunior easy access tickets are priced at the lowest price category E.
